A warm green kitchen in Italy 🌿🫒🥑On the A warm green kitchen in Italy 🌿🫒🥑On the walls of this kitchen, previously painted light orange, a new warm green shade with medium intensity embraces the room and instills a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for welcoming family dinners 🍽️We chose this colour to create a refined contrast with the white and dark grey of the furniture, highlight the chrome details, illuminate the dark floor, welcome the dark wooden door and window frames into the scheme.If you browse the carousel you’ll notice how the same shade changes on different walls and on the same wall throughout the day, reflecting the cooler light of the morning and giving its best with the warmer sunlight of the afternoon. As you’ll see in the last picture, by visually framing the windows and trees from the house garden, the colour creates a seamless flow between the interior and its surroundings.This is just an example to remind us all how colour can drastically make or break the whole design and, when used wisely, how it can fully transform a space previously brought to life 🤍If you’re interested in learning more about colour design, communication and combinations, we’re launching this fall a half-day workshop to delve into the fascinating world of hues and nuances. We’ll talk about colour theory, colour psychology, undertones, tints, shades, midtones and colour systems.
