Unexpected and sculptural, the candles created by Ann Vincent bring into our homes handcrafted totems to light up our nights. Ann, artist, explore the material and shapes her creations from the atelier she renovated in the countryside of Ghent, following a passion she discovered during the confinement and that led her to a new journey into such a beautiful and meditative craft.

Asymmetric and irregular, her candles come with unique details. Made of a soy wax blend, they’re poured into moulds and finished by hand with the aid of a sculpting knife. Perfect in their imperfection, they bring together fun and function, and turn an everyday object into a delicate form of art: organic in colours and shapes, we love to observe them melting slowly, moving like dancers into a different pose.

Sensitive to ecology, Ann uses as little paraffin as possible – just enough to keep the candle burning.
