The Ode To is part of this new wave of laid-back, online-first galleries that are popping up across the web to propose a renovated approach to art collection. Half-way between art and interior, less intimidating than traditional galleries, they feature affordable works from local or upcoming artists, and help you curate a unique collection to fill your home with special pieces.

Founded in Sweden in 2018 by friends and collectors Helena Carlberg and Anna Lukins, The Ode To selects and presents online one-of-a-kind sculptures, objects, paintings and drawings handmade especially for the gallery by talented artists from the Nordic Countries and Europe. Beside aiming at opening the practice of collection to a wider public, often excluded by the elitist art market, the project has the purpose to counterweight the gender imbalance that still exists in the art world by ensuring the presence of a creative platform to spotlight the little known work of (mainly) women artists.
